Overview

This presentation centers on key aspects essential to a comprehensive understanding of sound control in the HVAC market.  These focal points include a grasp of the driving forces behind sound control, effective solutions for treating HVAC equipment, and effective communication for achieving desired project outcomes.  Decarbonization, Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), and adherence to codes and standards are integral to exercising due diligence and effectively managing risks.  Beyond factory options, understanding the diverse solutions available and how they interact with the equipment are important to the success of a project.  Lastly, the effective communication of sound requirements for a project is paramount and involves employing specifications and schedules to convey expectations clearly to align outcomes with stakeholder expectations.

Kris Gonzalez

Kris Gonzalez, Regional Sales Manager at BRD Noise and Vibration Control, is a graduate of University of Houston where he received his MBA. Mr. Gonzalez’s association with BRD commenced in 2022 when he assumed the role of Southwest Regional Sales Manager, overseeing sales, engineering, and project management.  Prior to his time at BRD, Kris served as a Sales Engineer with Jonson Controls and a BMS Analyst with Unify Energy Solutions
