when you don't know what to do?

Overview

Not the typical technical or applications topic for a Chapter Meeting.  ‘What do I do now?’ is a common question of designers, from beginner to experienced, when encountering a new HVAC system type, or having to adapt a HVAC system to a unique project condition or constraint, or when an installation does not meet design specifications.  This question arises during any of the design phases, construction and owner occupancy.  Attendees can gain some insight, a different perspective, or strategies to develop a thought process to figure out what to do when you don’t know what to do.

Doug Bronson

Doug Bronson is a registered professional engineer in +30 States and has +30 years in the HVAC industry as a consultant / engineer of record / project manager employed by consulting firms and a mechanical contracting firm in DFW.  Through those years, he has contributed to the design and construction of data centers, commercial office buildings, industrial/manufacturing, multifamily / hospitality and senior living, religious, k-12 and higher education type projects.  Currently, Doug is a Principal at RWB Consulting Engineers leading engineers in the practices of designing HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire protection systems.
