REBOOT & SHOOT for june 25

Due to flooding of the course and additional rain expected, the Clay Shoot will be rebooted to June 25th.

We truly hope that everyone can make the new date but, if this isn't an option for you, please contact Henry Holmes to make arrangements.  We ask that you do everything you can to avoid requesting a refund as the process is less than simple but we will understand if it's required:  [email protected]

We expect that there will be shuffling of shooters and we might have some team openings as the date nears.  Stay tuned for updates.

Thank you for your patience and we look forward to a great time when the weather cooperates!

ALSO NOTE:  Elm Fork has committed to having 12 gauge shells for all shooters available but it's advised to do your best to find shells on your own. 20 gauge are not available from Elm Fork as of this writing.

How bad is it?

For anyone interested, apparently Elm Fork sits on land owned by Dallas that is used to handle overflow from the main systems.  Elm Fork begins to flood at 6,000 units (unsure of measurement scale) and they've been hit with 9,000 because of the recent spate of rains plus there's more on the way.

Here are a couple of photos from our contacts there via the cameras on site.  The two trees in the middle are where the pavilion sits, currently under 4 feet of water.  So maybe if you’re okay shooting clays Cajun Navy style, we can give it a go!

Other than the date change, all else will remain the same!
